SINGAPORE, April 10 2014 – MEN’S FOLIO releases a refined April issue featuring Singaporean swimmer-turned-model, Nick Tan in his first-ever solo men’s magazine cover shot by renowned local lens-smith Cher Him.

Change is in the air as MEN'S FOLIO April marks the first step towards a sharper and more contemporary visual and editorial direction, reinstating the magazine’s DNA as a leading authority in men’s fashion and lifestyle with a focus on promoting Asian talents and faces, both established and emerging. Underscoring this ethos immaculately, is this issue’s cover personality; emerging Singaporean swimmer-turned-model, and aspiring actor Nick Tan, who is dressed head-to-toe in Z Zegna for his first-ever solo men’s magazine cover shot by renowned local lens-smith Cher Him.

Inside this issue, readers will come across new value-add content like FOCUS; an educational how-to section where we showcase our interpretation of the season’s definitive trends. This issue, we also touch on prints and how to clash them like a fashionable insider. The idea here is to guide and inspire our readers to get creative when it comes to dressing up and adopting the season’s current trends.

With our line of sight also firmly fixed on what’s happening at home as well as in the region, our PROFILE pages provide an ideal platform to showcase the latest movers-and-shakers in the region; underscoring once again MEN'S FOLIO’s commitment of becoming an engaging platform to introduce compelling Asian talents to readers and fans alike. Also catching our eye in this issue, is Singaporean model Leon Jay Williams, who has taken a leap of faith, and is now finding success in the Northern Asian market as an actor. Williams is photographed in this issue by another homegrown Singaporean talent, photographer Leslie Kee.

What readers may also find has changed this issue is the COVET section. As the name suggests, we dedicate this section to featuring the latest must-haves from a gamut of product categories ranging from art to cars, fashion and tech. Readers can expect flipping through these pages and finding themselves whetting their retail appetites.

These days, with so many men paying increasing attention to the way they look, it is only befitting that we devote much more attention to our GROOMING pages. Our resident fragrance expert Eugene Ng, imparts his in-depth knowledge of layering scents for a more lasting olfactory experience, whilst our in-house team expounds the immediate benefits and impact that brow grooming can have on anyone regardless of your face-shape.
